Travellers requiring overnight accommodation can choose between the Halfway Motel, on top of the hill on the northern end of town and the Horse and Jockey Hotel beside the Caltex service station. Both offer comfortable accommodation and a warm atmosphere.
Whilst there is no official Tarcutta Caravan Park, there are plenty of quiet places around town to park a caravan for the night. We suggest finding a shady spot along the banks of the Tarcutta Creek (access between the Tarcutta Caltex and Tarcutta Auto Repairs) or along the top end of the park, there are ample spaces along Bent Street. You can also park behind the Tarcutta RSL Club (access via Cynthia Street). Power is available if you wish to set up behind the Horse and Jockey Hotel, just see Alma at the Pub. Other power is accessible around town just ask at the Caltex or Halfway Cafe.
We strongly suggest travellers seeking quiet overnight camping avoid parking in the truck change over area. It may appear peaceful during daylight hours but we can assure you this is not the case come 10pm! There is also a “black water dump” located in this parking area should any caravans require such a facility.
